Calculations happen in your browser

All grade, GPA, and test-score calculations on GradeTally run locally in your web browser. No grade data is processed on a server when you use our calculators.

Grades are not sent to a server

The course names, credits, and letter grades you type into a GradeTally calculator are not transmitted to us or to any third party. They stay on your device.

Calculator drafts

Some calculators save a draft in your browser withlocalStorage. This lets your entries come back after a refresh. Drafts are stored only on your device, are not uploaded to GradeTally, and are not used for tracking. Optional course-name and label fields are not saved in calculator drafts. Use a calculator's Reset button to clear its saved draft.

Do not type private identifiers such as a full name, email address, student ID, or school account number into optional course-name or label fields.

Advertising

GradeTally may use Google AdSense when advertising is enabled. Advertising scripts are controlled separately and are not required for grade, GPA, test-score, or chart calculations. If ads are enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Ad placement and availability can vary by page, device, region, and Google's review status.

Analytics

GradeTally has a guarded integration point for Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is only loaded when an official Cloudflare token is configured for the site. This analytics setup is for page-level traffic measurement and does not read calculator inputs, saved drafts, course labels, grades, or GPA results.
